Olive Trees Project

2009 View form the house: Some on the olive trees we have then "saved"
When we bought the house, in 2009, there were basically no trees on our gorgeous 4000 sq meter land!
Extensive landscaping and garden design has been made: it started with buying trees from nurseries but soon evolved into much more: we found out that many of our farmer neighbours were cutting down centuries' old olive trees, as they were "in the way" of the modern agricultural machinery when working the fields.
Harvesting Olives
Therefore we immediately decided to "save" the trees, buying them from the farmers and replanting them in our land, protecting, in this way, the biological richness and the landscape of the area.
