For Foodies

Whether you want to eat out or cook at home, this is a perfect place to enjoy food - slow food!

Our grapes, and our neighbor's vineyard in the background
Starting from the fruits, that, in the right season, abound in our garden: peaches, grapes, pears, apples, figs, prunes... and of course olives!

Wine is a real highlight of the area: just walk form the garden across to the neighbor's vineyard and buy it straight form him (Cantina Bacelli); or enjoy the Verdicchio of the renown Cantina Colognola, situated less than 1km form the house; or even better explore the region's multiple wine estates (list of wine estates on main page).

All the surrounding towns host a market once a week, and this is a great chance to buy organic, genuine products: fruits, vegetables, cheeses, breads, and fish.

Market days:
  • Cupramontana: Monday
  • Cingoli: Wednesday
  • Apiro: Sunday

The outdoor kitchen, shaded by a centenary Mulberry tree
The House hosts a spacious (40 square meters) and fully equipped kitchen with ventilated baking oven, steam oven, side by side fridge with freezer and ice maker, dishwasher, double sink, pots, pans, and a breakfast bar.

In addition we have an outdoor kitchen, where it is wonderful to cook lunch or even have breakfast, as it is exposed to the East and therefore has amazing views to the rising sun - on very clear days you can admire the Adriatic sea in the distance.

Very close to the house there are two Cheese producers:
Organic peas and a selection of Trionfi Honorati's cheeses

The area also produces great Olive Oil: Buy it from Cantina Colognola, 3 minutes from the house, or ask for our neighbor Olindo, who will take you right into his cellar.
